Account info: your email address, and an optional age and gender you can provide to personalize feedback.

AI outfit ratings (Rate tab): when you record or upload for an AI rating, we process the video frames (or photos) and your spoken voiceover (converted to text) to generate your style feedback. If you're a Premium subscriber, a thumbnail image and the AI's written feedback are saved to your account so you can view your history. We do not save full videos or audio recordings from a regular check — only still frames and transcribed text are used and, for Premium users, the feedback result. This AI rating is entirely private to you and never involves the public Feed.

Public Feed posts: the Feed is separate from AI rating — posting to it uses your camera to take a photo directly, with no AI analysis involved. When you post, your photo, any caption you write, and the occasion/attire you tag become visible to anyone who views the Feed, along with your username. Other users can vote "Keep" or "Change" on your post; we store which way each person voted (tied to their account, one vote per person per post), but individual votes aren't shown publicly — only aggregate counts. You must have posted a fit that day to view or vote on the Feed yourself. You can delete your own Feed posts anytime, which also removes the stored photo.

Location: we ask for your device location only at the moment you record, to factor regional style norms into your feedback (e.g. a city/country label). We do not track your location in the background or store precise coordinates — Premium history stores only the resolved location label (e.g. "Chicago, USA").

Payment info: if you subscribe to Premium, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we only receive a customer/subscription reference from Stripe to know your account is active.

Your outfit frames, transcribed voiceover, age, gender, and location label are sent to OpenAI's API to generate your style analysis. This happens for every check, whether or not you have an account. OpenAI processes this data to return a result to our servers; we don't control how OpenAI internally retains API inputs beyond their own stated policies.

We use your account info to manage your subscription, save your history (Premium only), and prefill your age/gender on future checks so you don't have to retype them.

Vercel — hosts the application itself.

We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.

You can use the core outfit-rating feature without creating an account — in that case nothing is saved after your session ends. If you have an account, you can update your saved age/gender anytime in Settings, manage or cancel your subscription in Account, delete any of your own Feed posts anytime, or request full account deletion by emailing us below.

Rate My Fit is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
